Hi my name is Nguyen (Neo) Binh Tran, I am a mechanical engineering student at the University of Waterloo. I was born and raised in Vancouver with Vietnamese heritage. For years I have been balancing school, competitive figure skating, freelance social media and other hobbies. This website brings all of my interests together into one interactive world.
The park is a great place to spend time — whether you’re taking a study break, watching a golden-hour sunset, or playing sports with friends.
NEO Speedway. The pit pad hands you the keys to the Black Edition — the whole circuit is yours. W/S throttle, A/D steer, E parks it. The lap timer is live; the grass is slow and judgmental.
Walk right onto the ice outside — this is the file room. Tap the glowing markers: each holds a clip or photo slot at the spot it happened.
Engineering things
An automatic ball sorting and packaging system built with VEX, 3D-printed and laser-cut parts. Sensors, servo motors and a conveyor belt sort and package marbles into 3D-printed trays — consistently beating our engineering design specifications.
A LUT generator for beginner videographers to experiment with different settings and different styles.
